Your responses are obviously offensive , saying contrary would only prove ignorance or stupidity, I wonder if you feel inferior because of what I said... yea I am 19 years old, your miss belief that younger people cannot surpass your intellect is wrong, but feel free to use my age as an excuse for your flaws. You sound gross and simple and I can only imagine you in your silly fake happiness enjoying wan commercial books. This is funny as hell, so much hypocrisy hate, ignorance, superiority and misunderstanding here it's unbelievable. I mean... my only reason for making this thread was boredom and to poke around more dark sides of life... but holy apple of Eden, all you guys did is make it about me being "this and that". Seems people love to throw rocks at people... power rangers... seriously ? I don't get most of you really , what makes you think that you are the ones right ? the fact that you are more of the same opinion and I am alone... and I am very confused why so much use of the word emo and mockery at my name for trying to be some sort of evil doer or ... whatever ... I don't even understand. So what there's people dying of hunger and I am bitching on a chat ? is that what you are pointing out ? you're all doing that... Please stop going completely off board with your internet jokes and random posts... if I'm not asking too much. |

On a serious note, am I the only one who really thinks this guy is TheAutocrat? He writes in a similar way, makes the same kind of retorts, and he seems to dislike me intensely, despite having never come into contact with me before this thread was posted. Furthermore his reactions to my comments in particular seem suspiciously disproportionate. You couldn't really say I've done anything more than playful teasing with an underlying seriousness; he on the other hand insults me at every opportunity and does it in a way that seems unnatural for someone you've only just met. Asserting that "I know [AnnoKano] is the judgmental kind", whether an accurate assessment of my character or not, is not something that you would normally say to a complete stranger. In short, this smells fishy as fuck to me. But I could be reading too much into it. Did anyone else notice these things, or is it just me? |

After skimming through most of the posts here. I have come to the conclusion that you are a whiner a person who over-thinks in an overly pessimistic manner. Life isn't perceived in the way of going solely after goals and living it out to the end. Life is about doing what you want, money is a means to get to that point, a partner is for most people a wonderful thing, someone they can rely/love and pour their emotions into. If you see your world in a grey colour then you should see an optician. No, you should actually do what seems fun, if computer science is a bore for you, try doing something where your interests lie. There are many people who can help you with this. So, stop whining and start doing! |

Pessimistic , yes , I already knew that , what of it ? Money just like religion is a way to control people ( and don't jump on my back there , it does not have to be a good or a bad thing). The agitation this days is really a nuisance. Yokubo: No, I did not mistake anything , how was I supposed to know they considered me some other person just because we might write similar... and cheer up ?... how many times do I have to repeat myself I am not depressed, why do people automatically assume when somebody is talking more dark-ish or serious, that he is depressed ? |

I don't think you understand the very concept of money if you are saying that, it is an improvement on the trading goods. And people buy goods with their money, for what I don't know, but most of the times it is: entertainment. Religion is a choice, it is not controlling people, though I am sure I will get quoted for this. Most people who willingly plunge themselves in the depths of religion take it as a choice not as a brainwashing. Again money is a means to get to things which could be travelling, and other forms of entertainment, if people are "being controlled" by trying to get entertainment or a living, then you should try live in Africa. Agitation is caused by a lot of things, but what you said is too broad in meaning, could you specify that? |

Despite the support of family and (a) friend, I feel like I've lost my drive, and forgot what originally drove me forward anyway. As for all that cynical stuff, I grew out of that after watching Clannad: After Story (which, from your list, you have too!). Guess it didn't have the same effect on you. Cynical people (in my experience) tend to keep away from everyone, so that's probably why you haven't met anyone in real life that shares the same views as you. By the way *spoiler alert* you're not unique. At least one person around you secretly harbors that "everyone around me is an idiot" attitude. How I keep going? My desire to not be forgotten. Unlike most other animals, we're intelligent enough to have developed a system of morals, which are different for each of us. Your morals tell you that what your friends do is base or wrong, but it is inherently neither. If you stop taking yourself as seriously, you might stop caring about what they do as much. |

I'm just gonna say that there gonna be times where you'll get more experience in life and probably hate it more but you'll grow used to it. Unless you have dreams, goals and a future carreer that you want. Which isn't the case, then "hope" that one day you'll find your answers. Man, you almost sound depressed tho. I don't know if you are but... do your parents support you? Talk to them, talk to adults and ask them about life and how it changes and how you change. Sorry. You can remember what I said but forget anything that you felt was mean. I don't know your age, so I can't assume a lot that your going through a time of life of a teenager. Plus you said your not going through a phase. But I'm still assuming your a teenager or young adult. Little heads up; I'm 17 and already faced a lot of experiences of life, analyzing how it changes and how I change and how humans grow up, etc. So I could say I have ongoing experience of a teenager going through life. I've been bullied in high school, cried many times. Actually cried recentely this Tuesday but I'm a sensitive guy. So yeah I still cry. The years 2010-2012 were very hard for me; crying, depressed, psychologist, bla bla bla. Point is. As a person, I have my reasons (how I was born, how I grew up, my surroundings, my experiences, my mind in how I took it) for everything and anything like every human being. So. I guess what I wanna say is. If you want us to understand you more, if your not afraid to share, then tell us how, when and why you feel this way. Have you ever accomplished anything that you were very personally deep down truly happy and satisfied? Or was it completing something that you need in life that doesn't feel like a real accomplisment. I feel that way sometimes. Have you failed at your own expectations? You probably don't get my last few sentences but whatever. I don't know, you tell us (if you want) Why do you feel this way? |

BUT the real answer is simply this; with experience, obstacles, living, etc. you will "grow up" and continue to mature and find your answers little by little with the older you get and the more experience you get in life. I know that I'm growing up. ^^ You sound very smart, maybe you analyze your surrounds and yourself/your life like I do. Very mature too. Don't worry, its just a phase of life that sometimes feels like hell but once at the top of your dreams or 'life', its all worth it. If no one including you doesn't want to hear that from a 17 year old who knows where he's going in life and knows will be very successful. ... then ask an adult. xD |

Indulge yourself in your search for reason, I don't see any absolute reason to life and I am still able live happily and keep going finely without an answer to abolsutely everything. Is there a need to have a reason to be happy for example? If you naively believe there must be an answer to everything in life you will probably never be happy. Not having a absolute reason in life is just as much a reason as it isn't. Same logic as not making a choice is as much of a choice as making a choice is. |

@OP: You are certainly all gloom, aren't you? I'm optimistic, because I still find pleasure and happiness in this flawed world and it's flawed people. In essence it's not their fault they are flawed. It is histories and society's fault. However people are lazy, they lack mental strength and willpower because most do not need it (As we know, the majority shapes society). People also do not introspect enough, they cannot adapt their personalities. People even do not sufficiently understand the language they speak. Lack of verbal knowledge and understanding are the causes. The effects are misconceptions, and ultimately failures in adept communication. Quite simply we must educate better. For lack of intelligence cannot be overcome, at least intellectual intelligence cannot. There is one exception to this rule, and this hypothesis may or may not be grounded in reality. That is because I cannot say I know exactly how intelligent I am. I think that I have increased my intellectual intelligence or dormant ability has been activated since I was younger (i.e. Perhaps I can access more of my brain power than average for some reason probably related to mental conditions.) In this regard I have gone against the belief that intellectual intelligence cannot be fostered. Social and emotional intelligence can be fostered. Social intelligence is an art that requires confidence, experience and an average IQ. Humility and self control are products of social intelligence. Emotional intelligence is learned through experience. Empathy and kindness are the essence of emotional intelligence. Intellectual intelligence is amplified through willpower (In other words: effort and motivation), Introspection and High IQ. What is sufficient? Is sufficient the world's power figures all getting deluded with diplomacy, whilst the citizens and the common man are left in ignorance? Is managing people and making sure they are comfortable sufficient? |

The vast majority lie themselves about their existence to integrate in what has become the standard and common conscience. It's frustrating to ask "why" and get more "why's" and then ask yourself why bother at all. You might be right, although in my controverted stupid brain says otherwise. Yes people who get used to living in a certain atmosphere and actually lose something will consider loneliness unbearable, that's what you missed, I never had any kind of real attachment to anything, sort of... and I hope until the very end that I will not because from my seat, this charade looks awful. I hate feelings, we're nothing but chemicals in essence, and I despise that. To make a side joke... if loneliness would eat me alive... at least something would ^_^. Leaving that apart, yes... true I have had a grain of hope that I might find somebody on this forum by pitifully posting a fragment of who I am and what I think. Nonchalantly I must say I was sort of hypocritical there, but who am I fooling... I am by far the most sad person not only on MAL but in life in general, and I am not referring to the name of this thread :P , also "sad" implying sort of a paradox here. |
